CIPPS Centro Internazionale di Psicologia e Psicoterapia Strategica
CIPPS is the first European research, training and clinical center dedicated to the integration of the Ericksonian strategic model with the psychosocial genomics of Ernest L. Rossi. Within the clinical center, CIPPS’ therapists deal with cases of adolescents who may be at risk of suicide, in collaboration with other professionals such as doctors, psychiatrists, biologists, nutritionists and lawyers.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
CIPPS – International Centre for Psychology and Strategic Psychotherapy was born in Salerno in 2012 from the synergy between PERSEO SPA Impresa Sociale and the ltalian E.L. Rossi’s group of students and collaborators. CIPPS is a specialization school in Strategic Psychotherapy, clinical center, Research Body and hosts the internship in the psychological area. As a research institute, CIPPS is involved in numerous projects, offering people opportunities for experimentation and integration between theory and practice, research and clinical practice.
CONTRIBUTION ON THE PROJECT
CIPPS, among its various objectives, has also that of training teachers and school psychologists in the identification of problems that can affect adolescents and young people. Even within the clinical center, CIPPS’ therapists deal with cases of adolescents who may be at risk of suicide, in collaboration with other professionals such as doctors, psychiatrists, biologists, nutritionists and lawyers, adopting a holistic view of human care and promoting an integrated mind-body model of care that considers the individual’s totality. CIPPS’ students are also involved in the study of these cases through the collection of clinical data and the monitoring of interventions, even during the training internship, so that in their future career they have the tools to act effectively and develop a personalized therapy for the patient.
